正に的を得た指摘です。

Ambassador Emanuel, nicknamed Rambo in the US but known as Admiral in Japan does not seem to understand that Japan has historically been tolerant of LGBT people and simply does not want to import the social problems occurring in Western society over gender identity and fluidity.

The ambassadors in his video have no understanding of the substance of the legislation being discussed in Japan and repeat irrelevant generalities.

Admiral Emanuel’s frivolous and arrogant performance made the Japanese people aware that they are still under US occupation. That is the achievement of the most unpopular ambassador in history.

エマニュエル大使は、アメリカではランボーと呼ばれていますが、日本ではアドミラルと呼ばれています。彼は、日本が歴史的にLGBTに寛容であること、単に欧米社会で起きている性自認や流動性をめぐる社会問題を輸入したくないだけであることが理解できないようだ。

彼のビデオに登場する大使は、日本で議論されている法案の本質を全く理解しておらず、無関係な一般論を繰り返している。

エマニュエル提督の軽薄で傲慢なパフォーマンスは、日本国民に、自分たちがまだ米国の占領下にあることを認識させた。それが、史上最も不人気な大使の功績である。
